President's Day Organ Festival

Salem is honored to have been chosen to be one of the sites for the Presidents’ Day, February 20 th Organ Festival as sponsored by the Los Angeles Chapter of the American Guild of Organists. Dr. Jay Brunot will play selections that show off the voicing of our instrument. Mr. Kyle Black, organist at Messiah Lutheran LC-MS in Downey, will also play. Premier organ builder Manual Rosales, who did the original installation and voicing of our organ, will give some background information on our organ. This will begin at 9:30 am and is open to the public. Also included on the tour later in the day are the organs at St. Mark’s Episcopal and First United Methodist, both also in Glendale. Please plan to come and invite your friends to experience this unique opportunity.
